These matches are a great way to get a first taste of competition fishing. They are friendly events that don’t get over competitive - good company, good banter, good fishing (usually!).
Watch the website for start times, but they are usually from 5.00pm or 6.00 pm till sunset and are followed by a free drink and a meal in the Lodge, courtesy of Bristol Water.
